Felix Hernandez will sport a different uniform next season, as he agreed to a one-year deal with the Atlanta Braves. He will not be on the 40-man roster to start, but was given $1 million for the one season. Jon Heyman was the first to report the news.

Hernandez, 33, spent his first 15 seasons with the Seattle Mariners. He won a Cy Young Award in 2010 and made six All-Star Games with the team.
The Braves will give Hernandez a chance to make the roster as a fifth starter, as they look to improve on a season where they lost in the NLDS.
