Major League Baseball is about to start and teams have prepared their pitching rotations. Here is the Detroit Tigers 2024 projected pitching rotation.
Skubal was limited to 15 starts, but had the best season of his career. He finished the campaign with a 7-3 record and 2.80 ERA.
Maeda missed the 2022 season and has been battling injuries for the last few years of his career. He had a 6-8 record and a 4.23 ERA in 21 games pitched.
After pitching for the Orioles and Cardinals in 2023, Flaherty joins the Tigers for this season. He posted a 4.99 ERA and a record of 8-9.
Mize has missed a lot of time due to injury over the last two seasons. In that time he has pitched just two games with a 5.40 ERA.
The Tigers are giving Olson the last spot in the rotation to start the season. He impressed in 2023 with a 5-7 record and a 3.99 ERA.
Notes: Matt Manning (RHP) was battling for the last spot in the rotation, but will start the year in AAA Toledo.
