Major League Baseball is about to start and teams have prepared their pitching rotations. Here is the Cleveland Guardians 2024 projected pitching rotation.
Bieber once again is at the top of the rotation for the Guardians. He had his worst season since 2018, but still pitched well in 2023 with a 6-6 record and 3.80 ERA.
In his rookie season of 2023, Bibee posted a record of 10-4 and had an ERA of 2.98. A step forward could lead him to being a consistent ace for years to come.
McKenzie had an injury-plagued 2023 season. He only pitched in four games, finishing the year with an 0-3 record and 5.06 ERA.
The lone lefty in the rotation for 2024 had a solid start to his MLB career in 2023. He tallied a 7-8 record with a 3.81 ERA.
Carrasco returns to Cleveland after spending a few years with the Mets. In 2023, he had his worst ERA, 6.80, since his first year making an appearance in the big leagues, 2009.
Notes: Gavin Williams (RHP) currently has some elbow discomfort. Tyler Beede (RHP) is also battling for the last rotation spot.
