Buster Posey to Retire From Baseball

Buster Posey retire

San Francisco Giant great Buster Posey will retire from baseball at a press conference on Thursday according to Andrew Baggarly.

Posey, 34, spent his entire 12-year career with the Giants. During his time playing, he won three World Series, one MVP, one Gold Glove, four Silver Sluggers and a batting title. He was a part of seven All-Star teams as well.

The catcher and first baseman batted .302 with 158 home runs and 729 RBIs. While his career totals don’t match those of other Hall of Famers, his postseason success will likely make him a favorable candidate.
