The Angels hired Ausmus to replace long-time manager Mike Scioscia, who stepped down after the 2018 season. Ausmus had a record of 72-90 with the Angels this season, as the team failed to make the playoffs. He previously managed the Tigers for four seasons.
Joe Maddon, who just agreed to part ways with the Chicago Cubs, is leading the rumors of potential managers for the Angels already.
