— Jon Heyman (@JonHeyman) November 6, 2020
Cora won the World Series with the Red Sox in 2018 and also helped the Astros do the same in 2017 as the bench coach. He was suspended for his involvement in using video rooms behind the dugouts to tip pitches to batters at the plate. The Red Sox fired Cora before the 2020 season, but are now bringing him back.
In two years as the Red Sox manager, Cora posted a 192-132 record.
