The Minnesota Vikings signed free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to their practice squad Wednesday.
There’s potential Beckham could be called up to the active roster in time for the Vikings’ matchup against the Saints, as both Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison are nursing injuries.
Head coach Kevin O’Connell didn’t rule out the possibility of Beckham playing on Sunday. Beckham previously appeared in a game just four days after signing with the Los Angeles Rams during the 2021 season, when O’Connell was the Rams’ offensive coordinator.
Beckham, 33, played just 19 snaps in three games with the New York Giants this season and didn’t record a catch before being released last week.
