In today’s gaming enviroment, almost every developer has transitioned to a free-to-play model with in game transactions. Marvel Snap is a game that is looking to be a bit more aggressive in their pricing when it comes to in-game purchases. With the most recent sale, titled the “Pro Bundle”, Marvel Snap players are a bit unsure whether or buy this new offer. Some deals have offered cards and cosmetics, while this one is all about Collection Level. Players got to know, is it even worth it to grab the Marvel Snap Pro Bundle?

To make that call, it’s important to really take a look at what you’re getting inside this bundle. This bundle gives players 12,500 credits and 8 155 booster packs (1,240 boosters in total) all for $100. While boosters don’t really have any value on their own, we can look at how many credits you could get if you just spent that $100 on just gold. In the store players can see that for $99.99 they can grab 8,000 gold. If they were to spend all that 8,000 gold buying credits, they would end up with 10,000 credits. At least from a credit-value standpoint, getting an additional 2,500 credits isn’t too bad.
In the ad for the bundle itself, it mentions that the offer is good for around 250 levels in a player’s Collection Level. This is great definitely, but the question becomes – what’s the value in a Collection Level?
For those players who are just getting started, this is actually an incredible bundle. Gaining 250 Collection Level allows newer players to instantly collect all of the Pool 1 cards and began collecting Pool 2 cards. Players can consider this bundle a “Welcome Newcomer” or even a “Second Account” pack. It definitely has really good value when players know what they are getting in each Collection Level.
That’s where the trouble comes in for those above Collection Level 500. Collection Levels at the moment are a bit of a mixed bag. Players can see when they are receiving boosters or credits, but they do not know what they will get when they open up a Collector Booster or a Collector Reserve crate. Players can receive anything from a Collector lootbox ranging from boosters to a brand new card. Lucky players could open several new cards with 250 Collection Levels. But odds are, players will most likely receive more credits and boosters than anything else.
It’s tough to say this bundle is worth buying for those players looking to increase their collection, because it really isn’t a guarantee that it will. At least, it probably won’t worth it for $100. This bundle is the equivalent of buying a $100 scratch ticket that reads “Everyone Is a Winner!” but everyone at least wins 50 cents. You could win big money, but ultimately it is a gamble.
To wrap up, this Pro Bundle would be worth it for those new players trying to fast-track their way into some better cards. For existing players, certainly feel free to skip this one.
