Magic players get ready, because a new adventure is on the horizon. After experiencing the grim and gritty world of Innistrad, players are now headed into the sillier side of Magic. That’s right, a brand new Un-Set is on it’s way and it’s out of this world – literally. Unfinity is the latest entry into the Un-Set family, and Magic players can get their hands on the brand new “fun set” on April 1, 2022.
Unfinity is a new set that features non-tournament legal cards. These “Silver border” cards are created with the intention of pushing the boundaries of what a Magic card can do, even if it breaks traditional rules of Magic. Due to the ridiculous nature of the cards, Un-Set cards are relegated to draft and “kitchen-table” games.
Unfinity takes place at what can only be described as an “Intergalactic Circus”. Creatures from all around the multiverse have come to this wonderful planet to take in all of the majesty and wonder of the event.

Cards are already being revealed for the new set, including brand new full art lands and full art Shock lands. Interestingly enough, some of the cards in the set are slated to be legal in eternal formats. That means some cards can still be played in Legacy, Vintage and commander despite coming from an Un-Set. This is a massive shift from earlier printings of Un-Sets, and players will surely be skeptical of the latest announcement.
