What is the Lost Caverns of Ixalan Release Date?

The next set for Standard, The Lost Caverns of Ixalan, is only just a few months away. For the first time in a while it doesn’t actually seem like a constant stream of spoilers and previews, and luckily this release won’t be for another two months. The official worldwide release for The Lost Caverns of Ixalan is set for November 17. The Lost Caverns of Ixalan release date was announced inside the Preview Panel thread on X (Twitter). The live audience at the Preview Panel got word of the news just before us common folk who had to stay home this weekend.

The Lost Caverns of Ixalan focuses on the residents of Ixalan and their exploration efforts into the center of the plane. Underneath the surface lies secrets and mysteries of a new type of power, Cosmium. Unbelievable power for those who wield it, making it the most precious new resource on the plane.

In the Lost Caverns of Ixalan, players will get a chance to see the same factions they loved the first time around. Vampires, Pirates, Dinosaurs – all of the key players will be back in this exploration-themed set. There is also the introduction of some of the gods that are worshipped on Ixalan that dweel in the depths of the plane. Already players have met Ojer Anoxil, the god of (what we can guess) might. There are still a few gods that players have seen on flavor text that we may still see. We won’t know until the official release later this year in November.
