Continuing their reveals, Legends of Runeterra announce that Lee Sin will be the newest Ionian champion. Many had been predicting this may be the newest one for the launch of the game which is happening at the end of April. Here is a look at his card and its ability.

After getting Quinn announced for Demacia, it seems as though the theory of each Region getting a new champion along with the release of a brand new Region is correct. It will be interesting to see which region will be reveal next. As the pattern has gone so far, there will be a new champion revealed every three days or so. Normally they make it known what the region is in the first day with a couple of card arts. Then the second day they have a promotional video for the Region revealing a storyline along with some of the already known champions being the stars. Finally, on the third day, they start the reveals with more card arts and then officially reveal the new champion.
So far, Quinn has been added for Demacia, Sejuani for Freljord, Maokai for the Shadow Isles, Swain for Noxus, Vi for Piltover and Zaun and now Lee Sin for Ionia.
Should this pattern continue then that would mean all of the new champions for current regions would be revealed by April 24 leaving four days for the Legends of Runeterra team to tease and show off the newest region. Again this is all assuming the pattern continues and that they aren’t going to release the newest region in the middle of the month instead of at the very end. Either way this is very exciting for Riot’s first official foray into the cardgaming space. Also do not forget that Legends of Runeterra will be coming to mobile along with the official launch on April 30.
