Worlds 2022 is in full force as teams try to make it out of Groups. Week 2 is where teams try to make up for their mistakes or fend off the teams trying to do so. On Friday October 14, Teams in Group B will be up and ready for the task. Here are the Worlds 2022 Group B predictions for their second and final week of action.

G2 vs. EG
NA v EU, a tale as old as time. Will EG be able to follow in Cloud9’s footsteps and take down their rivals in the first game of the day? Or will G2 get themselves back in contention with a win over the third seed from the LCS? Look for Jojopyun and Inspired to play a big role in keeping caPs under tower. If they can do this and EG’s bot lane just plays for scaling, they may have a chance here.
EG Win
EG vs. JDG
After coming off a big win, EG will be looking to continue their Worlds hopes against not only the best team in this group but one of the best teams in the worlds. With Hope and Missing playing well it is hard to pick against JDG here. EG will need to pull out a miracle in order to win. Otherwise, their Worlds 2022 run ends in Groups.

DWG vs. G2
At this point, G2 have to win this game in this scenario or the hopes for the West on Group B will be over. So far Damwon have fared much better than many would have thought considering their struggles during the regular season. With Nuguri looking more in form it is again, hard to pick against the Eastern team.

G2 vs. JDG
Again if things go this way at this point G2 are playing for fun and trying to spoil JDG’s ability to finish in first. Weirdly, this is something that G2 of all teams are prime to do. Look for caPs, Jankos and Wunder to pull out something interesting and catch the LPL representative off-guard.
G2 Win
EG vs. DWG
Not much to say here. EG will certainly play hard but will ultimately get taken down by DWG seeing as they will have been eliminated from making it past Groups at this point.

JDG vs. DWG
The game of the day, at least for Eastern fans will come at the very end. Both teams will be looking to try and finish first in the group with JDG dropping their game to G2 in this scenario. The battle of Yagao against Showmaker will be fun to watch in this. Look for Kanavi to be the one to step up and put Canyon in his place in this matchup.
