The regular season is over and 22 teams have locked in their place at Worlds 2020 for League of Legends. This means that Worlds will be just around the corner. Normally there is a bit of an offtime to allow teams to travel and prepare for the month-long grind to become the Worlds Champion. This year will be a bit different, not just in the time but what is being done in between now and the start date.

Because of COVID-19, players will be arriving to their hotels in Shanghai and then they will be quarantined for the first two weeks of being there. Then they will likely head to the bubble and will be able to practice with their teams. During quarantine, players will still be having their normal practices and will be equipped with the necessary equipment in order to play.
Luckily most teams are already there or arriving which means that they will be able to play soon. The group draw will take place on September 15 at 8 pm EST. This is where the groups will be picked amongst the teams that have already made it past Play-Ins. Then Play-Ins, which is when Worlds 2020 officially begins, will start on September 25.
The times are not yet known but since it is in China people can plan accordingly. For fans from the United States, these games will likely begin very early in the morning. Last time they were played at 5, 6, or 7 in the morning for those on the East Coast. It is sufficient to say that fans should be ready to have a wacky sleep schedule.
