The Ruined King game has been announced as the next League of Legends game. It will be the first League of Legends inspired game to not only be made by a third party, but it will also be the first story-driven RPG as well. This game will feature champions like Ahri, Braum, Illaoi, Miss Fortune, Pyke and Yasuo. They will also give players their first chance to dive into the areas of Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles. It also revealed The Ruined King himself for the first time.
But players may be wondering, when does this game come out?

As one can see in this trailer from October 2020, the game is slated for release in early 2021. But what does that really mean? Is it sometime in quarter one or potentially even sooner? Taking a look at the champion release schedule may help to clarify this.
Rell was the most recent League of Legends champion revealed. She came out in early December and if League of Legends stays to its release schedule, then the next champion to come out should be coming in February. Many believe this to be the Ruined King. If that is true, then The Ruined King game will likely come before it.
Expect to see this game coming out in January. It would match up well with the next League of Legends season as well as when the champion version of The Ruined King is expected to hit the Rift.
