The Shyvana Rework has been under the proverbial hood for quite some time at this point. After she was the surprise pick for the next rework, it has been delay after delay. So when will she finally arrive? Here is a look at the potential LoL Shyvana Rework Release Date.
There is currently no official LoL Shyvana Rework Release Date but we have done some research and believe she could be coming relatively soon.
In a AMA on the League of Legends subreddit, Riot Meddler confirmed back in 2024 that Shyvana’s rework would not be coming in 2025. This was a major disappointment as she had already been delayed once. Now it would be at least a year longer. But why was this?
Well, for starters, it sounds like they have been struggling to figure out what to do with her. They know she needs to be changed, but how do they do that without making her too strong or just not fun to play?
This is the challenge that many of the reworks have had and one that has caused many champions to be delayed or taken off the rework list entirely. That being said, there has been one other challenge that Shyvana has faced. The new seasonal format for League of Legends.
Now that they are visiting each of the major regions of Runeterra it looks like Shyvana will have to wait until they head to Demacia. The good thing is that apparently that will be in early 2026 according to some of the latest leaks and rumors.
As you can see it looks like after we head to Ionia that Demacia could be next and at the end of beginning of that season, the Shyvana rework could finally find its way to the Rift.
