Shyvana made her debut all the way back in 2011 and has been a fan-favorite not only as a jungler but even with her lore. Because of this, many had wanted a rework for some time and when it was finally announced, League of Legends Players rejoiced. Now it has stretched to years since the announcement and many are wondering, what is the LoL Shyvana Rework Release Date?
After literal years of waiting, the LoL Shyvana Rework Release Date has finally been revealed to be early 2026.
This is mainly due to the fact that we are heading to Demacia to start off the year and they announced that while she will not be there at the start, at some point in Season 1 of 2026, Shyvana will release. The question becomes why and what she will look like?

As you can see in these leaks, we know more about what Shyvana will look like. This means that most likely, the reason for the delay is the same reason but for different reasons.
Both reasons are due to the lore. The first is that they switched over to the new seasonal structure where the lore is actually getting shared with what is happening in the game. Because Demacia is slated for 2026, they could not release her in 2025. Along with this, they are probably delaying her to later in the season because of something in the story as well.
Shyvana’s new look and transformation may happen after an even that they revealed later in Season 1 of 2026.
The hope will be that she is released sometime in February or early March of 2026.

The Shyvana Rework Abilities have been partially leaked.
For the most part, Shyvana will be staying the same. But, all of her abilities look as though they will be getting powered up, in a sense.

As you can see in this video from known leaker BigBadBear, her E is much stronger now. It will have more AOE, proabably more damage and it looks like it may last longer.
What we will be looking for is how her passive and ultimate will work. These will all most likely be leaked or fully revealed well before she is even on the PBE.
