Note*: League of Legends and the Riot Devs have and will make changes during the preseason. They could even push this back, even though that is unlikely. Should that happen this article will be updated.

The biggest additions to League of Legends Season 12 were the two dragons that were added. Chemtech and Hextech. While Hextech has been received well, Chemtech was certainly not. The keyword there being was, Chemtech was removed after two patches of being in the game officially. Fans were not a fan of the invisibility that spread throughout the map. In a surprising move, the devs removed it and are working on a way to add it back into the game in the future.

This year there will be changes in the jungle where the devs have brought back pets and are planning on making the jungle easier to navigate, especially for new players. This has been met with a lot of questions and concerns. During the preseason, fans will be able to see just how good or bad these changes will be.

Along with this they are adding new Mythic Items to bring some more diversity to builds for certain champions. This includes the addition of items that were taken out of the game when items were initially reworked. These items include Spear of Shojin and the very much missed Rod of Ages.

The actual League of Legends Preseason 2023 Start Date will be November 15 around Midnight local time or later in the day once the patch is officially live.
