The characters from Piltover and Zaun took the screen for the first time in League of Legends and captured everyone’s hearts. Powder, also known later as Jinx, was just a hurt little girl who sadly lost her mind to insanity. Vi struggled to keep everyone together but found her way to trying to do good. Jayce brought his family up from nothing and Caitlyn proved that the elites of Piltover needed to pay more attention. This does not do justice for all of the major side characters but the main ones from League of Legends really grasped the attention of fans.

There was no doubt that the epic final of Arcane left so many questions, more than the answers it had slightly resolved. Because of this, fans knew a season 2 would be coming. Sadly though, it will not be in 2023.

According to the Riot Games CEO, season 2 is being worked on and won’t take nearly as much time as season 1 but still won’t be gracing fans’ screens in 2023.

New Arcane Season 2 Update

A new announcement showed Warwick for the first time officially with Singed. This is likely Vander making his final transformation into the well-known League of Legends champion.

Along with this, it was announced that Ambessa Medarda, the mother of Mel, would be finding her way to the Rift as a champion. She will probably be released alongside Season 2 in November of 2024 and clearly becomes a much more important figure in Arcane Season 2.
