Clutch Gaming versus 100 Thieves
100 Thieves are favored in this matchup, -164, mostly because of their win against Clutch Gaming back in week three.Take Clutch in this matchup, +120, their team fights and communication have been trending upwards since they last played 100 thieves. While in contrast, 100 Thieves team fights and shot calling have been trending downward in recent weeks.
Optic versus FlyQuest
This day two matchup favors FlyQuest, -200, who are coming off an 0-2 week. Optic are on the opposite side of the spectrum, coming off a 2-0 week and are the underdogs, +150. FlyQuest had a tough schedule last week, going up against a surging TSM and arguably the best LCS team in Cloud9. Optic had the exact opposite, facing the bottom two teams.
Take FlyQuest in this matchup. They are looking to secure that fourth-place spot in the table and could easily secure a 2-0 week this week with a win against Counter Logic Gaming before this matchup. They matchup well in every position against the Green Wall, especially in the top lane.
A good prop bet for this game would be first blood to FlyQuest, having secured it in 70 percent of their games.
Cloud 9 versus TSM
This is the premier matchup of the week. Cloud 9 is favored slightly at -164, with TSM being the underdogs at +120.
This is probably the easiest pick out of the three. No matter how hot TSM may be, always take Cloud 9 in a best of one scenario. TSM still has a negative win ratio against Cloud 9 in the regular season, 11-17 currently, and lost emphatically when they played in week three.
This game will probably come down to which teams’ support can have the biggest impact, one would take Tristan “Zayzel” Stidam over Andy “Smoothie” Ta to do that for this game.
