It has officially been announced that everyone’s favorite League of Legend side mode, URF is coming back in Patch 10.10. This mean that it will be playable May 13. Normally these modes last a least a patch, sometimes two. This means that URF could be playable for the next two weeks to a month.
For those who do not know what URF is, it is Ultra Rapid Fire mode or also known as the mode named after the manatee champion that never came to be. Basically cooldowns do not exist and the games are played like everyone is on drugs. This mode is very fast-paced and played on Summoners Rift. It still has everything that a normal game has in terms of items, leveling, Dragons and Barons. It is just that everything is faster.
This time they not only brought back the pick mode but also they brought some balance to the game with its own patch. This is something that has not been seen in the game before but, it should allow for everything to still be fun with allowing for some picks to be overly oppressive to play against. For all of the balance changes, check out the patch notes here. Other than that, enjoy URF while it is out and make sure to clip some of your craziest plays to show off to friends.
