Three Honors Malzahar Revealed for League of Legends

Publish Date: October 4, 2022

Just like that, it is nearing the end of 2022 and League of Legends is still bringing out skins for a lot of champions that have not had many in the past few years. With this focus on skins, League of Legends and their Dev team have mostly been adding to and bringing out brand new skin lines. Rarely is there one skin that is released anymore. Yet, here is one for those who have been good while playing League of Legends. Take a look at, Three Honors Malzahar.

Three Honors Malzahar

Since basically the beginning of League of Legends players have been more than a bit toxic towards each other. With that, the League of Legends Devs have been trying to find ways to curtail bad behavior. This was seen initially in the tribunal where players were essentially their own jurors and judges. This system gave players RP for helping to decide on whether or not to ban people. This became a bit expensive for League of Legends.

Now, they have shifted to a reporting system along with an honor system. For players that are toxic, trolling or just afk, they can be reported. In this system, you can also be honored for playing well or being a good teammate. As a player builds up their honors and keeps their reports to a minimum they are given Honor Levels that when reaching certain points give players orbs that contain in-game items or currency.

Apparently, this was not enough. Now they are adding a skin that only honorable players will earn at the end of the year as reward. This is akin to players having to fight their way to gold every season to get a free skin commemorating that as well. As this is the first time League of Legends and Riot Devs have tried this, it will be interesting to see what the response is for fans. Until then, enjoy Three Honors Malzahar, that is if one has been good enough.
