While it may not be the main theme for Worlds, the orchestral theme is certainly a staple. It is one that is played throughout the biggest esports event in the world and one that is certainly in the back of many fan’s minds. The Worlds 2020 Orchestral Theme was certainly a great one and it seems like the new one will be no different. Riot has finally revealed the Worlds 2021 Orchestral Theme and there is no doubt it brings all the feelings as Worlds 2021 approaches.
Riot Games revealed the new orchestral theme on Twitter.
Similar to the Worlds 2019 orchestral theme and art style, the Worlds 2021 theme is a marble color. The blue makes it feel like ice or possibly even porcelain. If it is more of a porcelain then it is possible that the Riot Games and League of Legends Esports team decided to keep the assets they were going to use for Worlds being in China this year.
For those who may have missed it or forgotten it, Worlds 2021 was supposed to head back to China as it was in 2020. Instead due to COVID-19, yet again, Worlds plans were changed. They had found success in Reykjavik, Iceland for MSI and they decided it would be easiest to have the teams travel there again.
Currently, the VCT is still without a team at an international event for the third straight event. It is being said that some of the teams are trying to figure out a way to Iceland but it looks likely that they wont be there. Other than that, every team should be in attendance.
Now as Worlds 2021 nears, fans will start preparing both mentally and likely physically as some sleep schedules will certainly get changed.
