It is official, one of the best top laners in the west, Alphari, will be joining Team Liquid. This was easily one of the worst kept secrets of the offseason as rumors of this came out soon after Worlds finished up. Now the reportedly multi-year deal worth over $1 million a year will bring him over to the LCS and make Team Liquid a team to be feared.

Alphari has consistently been a top performer over in the LEC for the past few years. Most recently his time of Origin saw him competition for titles but falling short. Because of that, the move to Team Liquid may be one that is not just about the money.
By adding Alphari, Santorin and extending Jensen, Team Liquid are a team that is ready to make some runs. They will not only compete domestically but try to find success for Na internationally. Recently, only Cloud9 have been able to crack the puzzle that is NA at Worlds. This will be a team with high expectations and one that everyone expects to compete at the highest level.
