Team Liquid are launching their fan platform, Liquid+, on Wednesday, January 27. The free app will engage esports fans through quests, experiences and rewards. Essentially, members earn points by interacting with Team Liquid’s different media–Twitter, Reddit, Twitch, etc. Your accumulated points determine your “rank,” and can be put towards the Liquid+ shop.

Along the way, fans can also complete quests and experiences to earn more points, earn badges, and raise their rank. Experiences are larger events that involve numerous quests, which are simply objectives. According to Team Liquid, quests can “range from something as easy as watching a video, to harder ones like tuning into a bunch of streams.” Liquid+ members may also win sponsored prizes (e.g. Alienware) through completing experiences. Ranks also provide certain perks, although, they have not explained what those might be yet.
Starting at 10am PT on Wednesday, January 27th, Team Liquid has scheduled several streams to celebrate the Liquid+ launch, including:
You can find all the action on twitch.tv/teamliquid.
You can ‘Like’ The Game Haus on Facebook and ‘Follow’ us on Twitter for more sports and esports articles from other great TGH writers along with Thomas!
