The first major signing of the LCS has happened and TSM’s star player, Bjergsen has re-signed with the team for two more years. This announcement was made via the TSM Twitter where they had teased fans with what seemed like a goodbye to their franchise player. Later they revealed in a video, also on Twitter, that he was actually returning.
Bjergsen says in the video that he and Andy “Reginald” Dinh are on the same page with similar goals. They talked about what went wrong and they both felt similarly. He also mentions being in a new facility and potentially not living in the TSM house that he has been in for years.
It seems like there will be changes being made for TSM overall. Bringing back Bjergsen was obviously priority number one for TSM. Now they have to focus on build the team around him. TGH’s own Rui took a stab at what TSM could look like in 2020. It will be interesting to see what pieces they bring back alongside Bjergsen as it seems like no one is truly safe. TSM will be working hard this offseason to get back to the top and so far they had made the most important move to making that happen.
