League of Legends’ newest event has arrived, the Sentinels of Light event has arrived and with it an enormous amount of not drops, skins and more. The event begins July 8 and will end about a month later August 10. Not only will this be one of the longer events, but it will also be one of the most unique ones yet. There are a lot of skins coming with this new line, a few have been revealed so far with moree coming soon with the release of Akshan. Check out all of the skins here, also here is a list of all the champions receiving one.
The shop is full of bundles that can only be bought with RP. If people do not feel like spending money, they can earn Sentinels of Light tokens through playing games and completing different assigned tasks. Normally these will require people to play with certain champions, earn gold, get a certain amount of kills or just play a certain amount of games. This event, things will be a little bit different, but that will be discussed in its own section.

As mentioned above, earning tokens if similar to previous but also completely different. They have added an element of a story mode within the client this time. By completing a certain task, players will earn favor with certain champions and gain different rewards. Each of the tasks are tailor-made for each champion and they are spread amongst the many different game modes that League of Legends has to offer. This includes the new game mode Ultimate Spellbook.

As time goes on, the Sentinels will push through new regions, opening them up to players and adding to their ranks along the way. While some regions must be visited first (Demacia, Piltover & Zaun), others present a choice that will affect your rewards and which Sentinel you recruit. In these instances, the region visited first is marked with an A, while the region visited second will be marked with a B.
