Project A has been a much-anticipated game since its reveal back at the League of Legends 10-year anniversary. Not much has been said about it or shown since then, until now. Major casters and players in the CSGO community, as well as some journalists, were given a chance to play the new FPS that will be released by Riot Games at a currently unknown date. Safe to say, they had some high praise for the new shooter.

if Riot does everything right Project Ares (Project A) will be the biggest FPS/shooter game in the world by 2021
Project Ares will surpass CSGO, Fortnite, Overwatch, Call of Duty, Apex, Rainbow 6, Crossfire, and all other shooters internationally

This one is a continuation of a long chain of tweets. It is worth going back and giving the rest a look.
I will leave you with this bombshell: #ProjectA is the best game I have played since CS:GO.

This comes shortly after Riot Games’ beta release of Legends of Runeterra and a little over six months after their release of Teamfight Tactics. It was clear during their announcements during the 10-year Celebration that they intended on releasing many new games. But did anyone think they would be this fast? Likely not.
With the little information that is given here one can parse out that it seems as though the game may be coming sometime this year. If Slasher believes it will be the best shooter in the world by 2021 then it will have needed time to come out and at least get through its beta. Also from the tweets from HenryG and paszaBiceps it feels as though the game is nearing a playable level.
