The next League of Legends inspired Marvel Comic series is coming out this year. It will be based around the Ionian assassin Zed. This was teased at the end of the last series based on Lux.
So far, the comic series has taken a look at Ashe and Frejord and Lux and Demacia. Both of these are popular champions with interesting lore. Zed will be the first to allow fans to explore Ionia as this seems to be the region that Riot wants to focus on this year. He comes from the assassins and warriors of Ionia like Akali, Shen and more. They will focus more on his origins as fans will see some of their other favorite Ionian assassins.
More details will be coming soon.
