Ruined King: A League of Legends Story | Official Announcement Trailer
This game has been in development alongside Airship Syndicate, a game team used to making RPGs. This is the first collaboration through Riot Games’ third party program, Riot Forge. This arm of Riot Games was made intentionally to tell more stories about the world of Runeterra and the League of Legends characters.
In the trailer, The Ruined King was also finally revealed. Nothing is known about this character other than that his sword has been a part of League of Legends for years and that he resides in the Shadow Isles. It is possible that he is truly the King of the Shadow Isles and that this group of admittedly random heroes are brought together to bring him down. That said, this is just conjecture.
As the year goes on it seems likely that there will be more announcements about The Ruined King. Keep it here at The Game Haus to stay up to date on Riot Games first ever RPG.
