Norra Revealed in Latest League of Legends Video

Early on Tuesday, July 6 Riot Games unveiled a new video recapping the key points of the latest Ruination event. In the story, a new champion Akshan narrates the events that have led up to Viego’s return. The video highlights how the mists of the Shadow Isles are taking over all of Runeterra slowly but surely. However the Sentinels of Light are fighting the good fight, and doing everything they can to prevent the ultimate destruction of the world.

The video revealed a few things about Akshan and the rest of the League of Legends lore, but there was one small bit that stood out to viewers.

At the very end of the video, there appeared a small bit of artwork comprised of champions. In it there are the familiar faces of Riven, Olaf, and Shyvana. But hidden under the wing of the Ruined Dragon Shyvana is a new face. A yordle that is unfamiliar to players, but just may be the next champion after Akshan.

The new yordle champion is rumored to be Norra, and it appears as though this small post-credit is what she will look like in League of Legends. Previously, Riot had teased a new yordle champion that was dark and gloomy. Norra was initially planned as an artillery mage, but has since been reworked to fit the stereotypical mage role. Now that the Ruination event is rapidly approaching, its clear now that Norra will be a role in the story. By the looks of it, Norra will be working with Viego — most likely hoping to conquer Bandle City once and for all.
