Last year it was K/DA, this year it is the revival of Pentakill. The original band for League of Legends, Pentakill will be coming back with a brand new album. This album by Pentakill is called Lost Chapter. It will be the first new album for the band since 2017 and likely will feature new skins and a new member. Here is the release date for Pentakill Lost Chapter.
Pentakill, for those who may not know, is more of a hardcore rock band than K/DA. They are meant to be the sort of Metallica of League of Legends. Almost every song they have sung in the past was based off an item in the game. For example, some of their biggest hits are Last Whisper and Grasp of the Undying. They were truly the band that got League of Legends Music started.
The champions that are currently in this band are Olaf, Yorick, Kayle, Karthus, Sona and Mordekaiser. These six will likely return and it seems as though their skins will either be remade or they will be getting a new skin. In the new Pentakill Lost Chapter album cover art, one can see what looks to be Viego’s crown. This is making many speculate that The Ruined King will be joining the band.
This would make sense seeing as this whole year has been based around his rise and fall during the Ruination event. With the Vex release date likely around the corner as well as The Ruined King game, it wouldn’t be a complete surprise to see Viego join as his last hurrah for 2021.
As for the release date, the album will be coming out on September 8, 2021. This will likely align with Worlds 2021 in some capacity and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Pentakill perform at works either.
