The next League of Legends champion is on his way. With the last patches of 2023 comes the latest mid lane mage to come to League of Legends since Vex. While his name, Hwei, has been out there, no one has known what he looks like. That has now changed. Here is a first look at the image leaks of the new League of Legends Champion, Hwei, the Ink Mage.

The League of Legends Champion Hwei Leaks are just images for now. But there is a good chance that more will be shown with the League of Legends Worlds 2023 Finals ending soon. LEAKED Hwei, The Ink Mage – League of Legends
There are going to be a lot of people looking for Hwei’s abilities. So far not much has been revealed. The only thing that is known is that his kit has something to do with Ink. Also he will likely be using a paint brush as his weapon in some fashion.
Since he is a mid lane mage, it would be surprising to see him in melee range. Instead, it is safe to assume that he will use ranged auto attacks.
Also there is speculation that Riot Games was considering having players have to draw something for his abilities. It was also rumored that this idea was likely scrapped, at least for the most part.
Regardless, it is clear that Hwei is going to have a lot revealed here over the next few days and that he will be heading to the PBE very soon.
When looking into the Hwei PBE Release Date, one should expect him to hit November 21, 2023, with Patch 13.23. There is a chance he could come earlier with patch 13.22 as well.
Using information from the past release schedules, the League of Legends Hweu Release Date will be December 6, 2023, with the last 2023 Patch, Patch 13.24. There is a chance Hwei could release early on Patch 13.22 on November 21, 2023, as well but that is very unlikely.
The main reason for this is that the League of Legends developers have been releasing about four or five champions a year. They normally save one for the end of the year to officially release during the League of Legends Worlds Finals. This year the Worlds 2023 Finals will be on November 19.
Last year, K’Sante was released on November 2, 2022, just a few days before the Finals. They will likely follow this similar format which is why players should expect to see Hwei live on or around the previously suggested date.
