After a few months of waiting and a leak, Gwen the Sewing AP Bruiser has finally been teased as the next League of Legends champion. Originally it was thought that this champion would be Isolde, the lover of Viego and while she is connected, it seems as though her doll may be the next champion come to life. The sewing champion was confirmed to be the next League of Legends champion. With that, here is a look at the teaser for Gwen.
Here are some images from the Gwen teaser trailer.

It is clear that Gwen has something to do with Isolde. It is not known exactly what yet but it is likely that the soul of Isolde went into her doll. The doll musty have been named Gwen and now she has taken over the doll and become the seamstress champion.
This comes as a huge surprise as many were sure it was going to be Isolde, including the League of Legends writers at The Game Haus. Now it will be interesting to see exactly what Gwen’s story is. The Gwen teaser made it seem likely that she had a sword that looks like a needle and that obviously thread would be a part of her kit. It was also made clear that the soul of Isolde had something to do with the doll.
It is also possible but unlikely that Gwen was just an entirely different woman than Isolde. As the lore has said Isolde was the lost love of Viego who was a known seamstress. No matter what the wait is over and it seems likely that Gwen will be coming out soon.
