Neeko has long been a champion that has frustrated many League of Legends players. Whether it was because of her weird ability to do insanely builds or just that she never really felt like that champion that was initially intended, Neeko has been interesting. Because of that, Riot Game revealed that they were actually doing a mid-scope update or mini-rework of the champion. Here is when fans can expect to see the Neeko Rework Release Date.

Also known as The Curious Chameleon, Neeko released back at the end of 2018. That means she is one of the more recent champions to get a rework. The original goal was for her to be what her nickname would suggest, a chameleon. She would trick opponents by being something else and blend into her surroundings.
Unfortunately, this did not work entirely as intended. Because of that they have decided to give her a mini-rework and there is no doubt that this one will be interesting.
It was already shown at the beginning of the year that Neeko could transform into basically anything on the map. She can transform into minions, plants, gromps and so much more. This will truly allow for her to be the Chameleon that people were hoping for upon release.
When looking at the Neeko Rework Release Date it would seem as though she will be live May 3, 2023 with Patch 13.9. This is because she hit the PBE with Patch 13.8 on April 19, 2023.

Once more mid-scope updates are revealed alongside any other League of Legends news, The Game Haus will have it covered.
