After being in limbo since TSM traded for Doublelift, Kobbe will have a new home back in the LEC with Misfits gaming. The terms of the deal are not currently known but the bot laner will be heading back to the LEC. With this move, it seems as though Bvoy will either be relegated to the bench or could also be moved.
Misfits were speculated as an option after the team performed poorly during the Spring Split playoffs. They had been one of the surprises of the LEC, performing better than most had predicted during the regular season. With Febiven showing the young core of Misfits the way, the team went 10-8 and proved that they might be ready to take the next step. Unfortunately, Bvoy was behind most of the team struggling quite a bit at times. This was shown quite a bit in their only playoff series. While he had some standout performances, he was normally a bit below the LEC average at the position.
With Kobbe, Misfits likely solidifies a spot as a top-level team in a very contested LEC. The hope will be that the young trio of Dan Dan, Razork and denyk continue to improve while Febiven and Kobbe provide stability. If they can mesh this all together then Misfits will be able to challenge even the likes of Fnatic and G2.
