While week one did occur between January 13-19, the league went on their usual break for the lunar new year. However, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, now known as COVID-19, matches were postponed indefinitely.
The LPL Spring Split matches will be held online. All players will have to go through a 14-day quarantine and meet the health standards before they can participate. The players will be playing from their club’s headquarters.
When available, an on-site referee will be present to ensure that rules are upheld and that there is no deviation from the norm.
The english broadcast will return on March 15.
