First of all, Hail of Blades increases the attack speed of the first three auto attacks. This works on Janna because her passive now grants on hit damage scaling with her movement speed. Therefore, players are stacking movement speed to maximize her damage output.

This Korean content creator synergized with Ziliean support, utilizing Janna as the ADC. Hail of Blades allows her to attack three times super quickly, and she can slow the enemies with her W. Therefore, Hail of Blades Janna typically runs Flash and Ghost, and doesn’t actually build the support gold item.
