Teemo is an absurdly annoying pick in new League of Legends 2v2 Arena mode. His blind makes him a counter pick to many marksmen — and his mushrooms are excessively difficult to deal with. Abuse zone control to make the best of this pick.
From building him properly, understanding which augments to take, and knowing which champions he doesn’t play well against, Teemo takes a strong understanding to master in the new League of Legends Arena mode.

Teemo likes to target a single champion at a time — but it requires him be able to move around freely. This makes Yorick a natural counter to the champion, since Yorick limits his movement and creates minions that are excessively hard for him to deal with.
Kennen, on the other hand, excels at burst damage. The yordle isn’t all that popular, so target banning may not be the best choice. But just be wary of Kennen’s instant engage ultimate damage.
On the other hand, Teemo plays incredibly well against the likes of Vayne, who is a popular Arena Mode pick.
Teemo plays well with other annoying champions, like Heimerdinger. He also plays well with Annie and burst damage carries.

To be honest, the champion also plays well with tanks, but Teemo is also a little bit independent of team composition. He’s the classic case of skill expression carrying the game.
Teemo plays to deal annoying damage through the means of poison. Therefore, Liandry’s Torment is undeniably the best item on Teemo. And of course, Guardian’s Orb is the best starting item, followed by Sorcerer’s Shoes thereafter.
Go for Inferal Conduit whenever possible, since it synergizes perfectly with his base play style. The next best rune would definitely be Trueshot Barrage — since it procs with Teemo’s shrooms. There are also two great augments, Eureka and Jeweled Gauntlet.
If players can’t get any of those four, go for Omni Soul or Can’t Touch this — as these may help fill out Teemo’s biggest weakness of being squishy.
Getting Fireband and Scoped lens are easily the best augments for Teemo — but of course players can’t always get the best every time. Other good augments are Ethereal Weapon and Combo master, which are general damage optimizing augments.
Witchful Thinking is the best augment on Teemo in the Silver Tier. This is because he often builds a bit of attack speed, and benefits from the additional AP. Infernal Soul is also excellent, since his main objective is to deal damage.
Light ‘Em Up! is a good alternative, as is Executioner.
