The LEC 2022 season started with G2 surprising everyone and rising to the top much earlier than anticipated. Now, the homestretch of the season is within reach. It still feels like nearly any team could win, except for one. Here are the LEC 2022 Summer Split Week 7 Power Rankings.

10. Team BDS (1-12)
(Last Week: 10)
Not much more to say other than this team is basically a free win for whoever plays them.
9. Astralis (6-7)
(Last Week: 9)
Taking down Rogue is fantastic. Especially considering that this keeps them in the playoff hunt. Unfortunately, losing to SK keeps them down at the bottom. When picking teams it is hard to see Astralis beating anyone on a consistent basis but maybe next week will finally be the week that this is proven wrong?
8. SK Gaming (5-8)
(Last Week: 8)
SK finally took down a team right next to them in the standings and LEC power rankings that would help them make moves. Then they got smoked by a very hot Misfits team. This team needs some other teams to start losing while they are winning or they will be on the outside looking in.
7. Fnatic (6-7)
(Last Week: 7)
Well they finally ended one of the worst losing streaks in recent memory. Unfortunately for them, it was against BDS, which does not mean much. They are still a strong team on paper and able to battle for a top spot. Time is running out though and Fnatic will have to make their run now or they could not only miss out on Worlds but even making the playoffs.
6. Excel (7-6)
(Last Week: 3)
All of a sudden Mikyx is feeding his face off and this team looks completely lost. It is so hard to get a read on Excel. Luckily for them, everyone is losing to MAD right now and Vitality are hitting their stride. Excel are still in a pretty good position especially considering they still play BDS next week. A 2-0 weekend in week 7 would nearly guarantee playoffs for Excel.
5. G2 Esports (7-6)
(Last Week:4)
A loss to Vitality doesn’t mean much in terms of power rankings but it means a lot in the standings. G2 are still very much in a good position, as are the other two 7-6 teams, but they have a lot more veterans who know this grind and stress. They already got their free win over BDS this week so the last five games will put that grin theory to the test.
4. Misfits (7-6)
(Last Week: 6)
It seems as though Misfits took out their frustration with the org selling its spot on Rogue and SK this week. Vetheo looked great as always but Neon was untouchable. Zanzarah sounded like a weird move at first and teams will take away his Poppy next week but that is great for Misfits. This opens up a few more options for the team as they work to make playoffs for the final time.
3. Rogue (8-5)
(Last Week: 2)
It was not a pretty 0-2 weekend for Rogue, especially the SK game. That said, this team deserves the benefit of the doubt. They are going through a rough time but will have a new patch on their side and time to fix the issues. They are likely a win or two away from guaranteed playoffs although they are still wanting to be in that top spot for a guaranteed Worlds 2022 slot.
2. Vitality (8-5)
(Last Week: 5)
This was what fans wanted to see from the super team known as Vitality. They are finally starting to find an identity and Perkz is playing out of his mind. This team definitely still has its limits and will likely be challenged in best of fives but getting there is the most important part for Vitality. Getting a 2-0 weekend nearly locked them in for a chance at making their return to Worlds.
1. MAD Lions (10-3)
(Last Week: 1)
Can anyone stop this team? Nisqy may win MVP just for showing how much this team was held back before. MAD Lions are unbelievably good and are now one win away from a playoff birth. This team is the best in Europe and no one can say anything differently.
