The
LEC
is back for the Summer with some teams making a lot of changes and others sticking with their five from the Spring. Each of these teams will be duking it out to not only win an LEC Championship but also to get the chance to go to Worlds. With that people may be wondering who to pick on their way to Worlds. Here are the LEC Picks for Week 6 of the 2022 Summer Split.

Overall Pick Record: 34-21
Pick Record from LEC Week 5: 7-3
SK Gaming vs. Astralis
Only one game separates these two as they both look to sneak into the playoffs. While Astralis have been good, SK Gaming are on fire right now. They seem to be focusing more on playing through Jezu and it would be hard to argue that it is not working. SK take this one but it’s honestly a coin flip.
Rogue vs. Misfits
This would have been a pretty easy choice but Rogue just got battered by G2 in their last outing. Is that the new norm or an outlier? It feels more like an outlier as Rogue have proven to be able to bounce back. Expect them to focus on keeping Vetheo in check while giving Larssen something easy to scale and win with.
Vitality vs. Excel
Week 4 was not so good for Excel. Week 5 on the other hand, couldn’t have gone better. A big win over Misfits and a slaughter of Fnatic have them feeling extremely confident. Vitality are not a bad team but their players still require resources to be great. Resources that there are not enough of to go around. because of this. Excel should take this one.
Team BDS vs. G2 Esports
G2 had a big bounce-back weekend which concluded with them dismantling Rogue. Team BDS are bringing LIMIT back up to the main roster but in this one, that should barely matter. G2 win this one easily.
MAD Lions vs. Fnatic
This is an incredibly important game for Fnatic. Well really, all of their games will be from here on out. They are getting crushed lately. Sadly for them, MAD are likely the best team in the LEC right now. Fnatic will drop their fifth in a row here.
Two of the hottest teams in the LEC face off here. Sadly one is definitely better than the other and easily has the best player. Vetheo alone is a reason to take Misfits here even with the change in jungler.
Astralis will absolutely put up a fight here. They will make their plays but it likely will not be enough. Rogue are a force and will be looking to reassert their dominance with another 2-0 weekend. Expect them to do just that.
This game will surely be a banger. MAD Lions should be the favorite here but Excel have found their way again. Will that be enough to stop the Lions though? Sadly for Excel, they are still a bit off from MAD. Kaiser and Elyoya will have their way all while Nisqy or UNFORGIVEN take Excel out.
There is no other way to put this. Fnatic absolutely and unequivocally have to win this game. If they do not, their season is likely over.
Perkz gets another crack at his former team. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t face them during their losing streak. With G2 looking like the team that stomped their way to MSI, Vitality really do not have much of a chance in this one.
