Only hours before the beginning of their season, the LEC has announced another partner. Kit Kat will be the next official sponsor of the European League of Legends pro scene. The past two days the LEC had announced five new sponsors.
As well as everyone’s favorite sweet treat, Kit Kat is the perfect way to kick back and enjoy breaks in the LEC action. To make those minutes of downtime fly by, we’ll be partnering to sponsor the pauses in our broadcast. Look out for other activations to be announced later this split to make the most of our Kit Kat breaks between action-packed LEC games.
It is worth noting the language of this announcement. While much less detailed than the previous announcements, Kit Kat will apparently have control of the “breaks” in the action. could they have a very specific segment in mind for the analyst desk or maybe some sort of between game and analysis entertainment?
This is currently unclear but, one thing that is sure is that the LEC has been making great deals left and right and that should make everyone in the esports space excited to see.
The LEC starts today at 12 pm EST or 9 am PST on the new LEC specific twitch page.
