After seemingly getting leaked, Zeri has been confirmed as the next champion coming to League of Legends by Riot Games after they released her Biography. She will be known officially as Zeri, “The Spark of Zaun”. Here is what has been revealed about League of Legends Zeri the new Zaunite ADC.

This is certainly an interesting way to reveal a champion for League of Legends. For Seraphine they created a whole social media persona. While champions in 2020 were all connected to the story of Viego and the Sentinels of Light. Now with Zeri coming out as officially a part of Zaun, one has to wonder if she will be in Arcane Season 2?
The reason this is even a valid question is that the developers stated that this champion was supposed to release last year with an event. Considering Arcane was centered around Piltover and Zaun, Zeri would certainly fit in. That being said, they claimed that for that event specifically, Zeri didn’t work. After watching all of Arcane, it is safe to say that she may not work, just yet at least.

When reading the Zeri Biography, it is clear that electricity and speed will be her thing. They also mention charging which may be a new mechanic coming to the game for her similar to how Yasuo’s passive works. This is all speculation at this point. The only thing that is confirmed is that she is from Zaun and that Zeri will be the next bot lane/ad carry champion coming to League of Legends to start off Season 12 and 2022.
