LoL Esports and Spotify Partnership
LoL Esports Global Events recently announced a partnership with Spotify, which included an Official LoL Esports Music hub containing music, podcasts, and playlists inspired by the gaming and esports community. “Take Over” is the first release in relation to this agreement. They also plan the following releases in the near future:
- A teaser of the special podcast episode “The Making of Take Over: 2020 Worlds Anthem” that will give an exclusive, behind the scenes look at the Worlds Anthem. Hear from major players as they discuss how the anthem came to be and the challenges of this year. The episode offers an inside look into the process – one that fans won’t be able to find anywhere else.
- League of Legends Official Playlist will evolve to become the home of the Worlds Anthem Take Over, including new playlist cover, hub animation, and updated music to reflect the vibe of the newly launched track.
- Exclusive sneak peeks of sketches and quotes from the creators of the Worlds Anthem themselves, found within the League of Legends Hub on mobile.
The Worlds Anthem is released annually and performed during the World Championship Finals. It helps set the tone and celebrates the largest LoL Esports event of the year. “Take Over” follows the footsteps of “Phoenix,” “Rise,” “Legends Never Die,” “Ignite,” “Worlds Collide,” and “Warriors.”
