The upcoming League of Legends champion is receiving a brand new skin upon her debut. Going by the name Street Demon Briar, the skin showcases the vampire in bright, vibrant colors — varying drastically from her base splash art.

The Street Demon Briar price is 1350, standing as an Epic skin. Many of her animations have a whole different color schematic to them, but they’re not completely retouched. This is to be expected at the price point.
After all, most Epic Skins have minor touch ups to skill animations, typically just changing the base colors.
Street Demon Briar release date
The Street Demon Briar release date is on September 13, 2023 — the same date that patch 13.18 releases. This release date was based on speculations, since Riot always releases a skin alongside the brand new champion.
And since Briar is available on the PBE, and they’ve been advertising and marketing her through video teasers, it stands to reason that she’ll release on September 13.

Since Street Demon Briar differs so drastically from the brand new champion’s main appeal, the community criticized the skin:
“Street Demons is a pretty good Skin line concept, BUT I feel like they’ve given the skins to the wrong champions.”
“The thing about this skin is that it’s forced into the Street Demons series which I’d argue actually holds it back. It’s clearly based on the vampires from chinese mythology called the jiāngshī based on the blue outfit, hat, and what looks like a paper on her hat that’s meant to ‘control’ the vampires and stop them from attacking everything living. Unfortunately they fucked that up by shoving in the bright yellow pillory to fit the Street Demons style. I’d argue that it would be much better as a standalone and straight up just call it ‘Jiāngshī Briar’ like how Vlad has ‘Nosferatu Vladimir’.”
