With the League of Legends Season 12 end date likely in November, people are already going to start wondering, when does Season 13 of League of Legends begin? This means a new chance at increasing one’s rank along with a slew of new great content. Only a few things have been announced so far, including some potentially big jungle changes. Here is a look at the League of Legends Season 13 start date and time.

The biggest additions to League of Legends Season 12 were the two dragons that were added. Chemtech and Hextech. While Hextech has been received well, Chemtech was certainly not. The keyword there being was, Chemtech was removed after two patches of being in the game officially. Fans were not a fan of the invisibility that spread throughout the map. In a surprising move, the devs removed it and are working on a way to add it back into the game in the future.
Seemingly by accident, Garena, the company that helps to run League of Legends in South East Asia, revealed a new Dev Blog discussing the potential changes coming to the jungle for 2023. Check out the full leak below.

This Dev Blog, for those who may not want to read the whole thing, discusses how the jungle is tough. That junglers are expected to be everywhere and do so many things while also having to keep up in farm and clear camps effectively. Well, the Riot Dev team is hearing the cries for help.
They are looking at bringing back something like the little devourer wolf that used to follow players in the jungle. This would be their pet and it would essentially level up as junglers did more in the game. It would also seemingly juggle some of the hassle of fighting camps from the sounds of it.
While not confirmed exactly how this would work, they are currently testing it out. It could be an extremely big change for anyone who plays the jungle. They want to make it easier to jungle thus allowing more champs and less skilled players to do it. But, they still want people to show off how much better they are, just in a different way than clearing.
This obviously will bring with it some risks, but the rewards for more people to play the position as long with adding some diversity, could potentially help the health of the role. While many say the role is OP, it generally seems to depend on the player.
When looking for when the season starts, it is generally easy enough if one looks at the seasons before. It is almost always about a month after the last patch of the year.
Sticking to that mindset, one would expect the end date to come the first Wednesday of January in 2023. This has apparently changed. The League of Legends Season 13 Start date is officially January 10 at 11:59 pm local time with the ranked season starting sometime around then.
It is still a bit far away to confirm this but all signs are pointing to this being the end date with how methodical the League of Legends team is.
