Was the next League of Legends support just leaked? Zeri has only been in the game for a matter of days and already, there are leaks about the new support. This should not be too big of a surprise with the fact that both Zeri and this new support were supposed to come out at the end of 2021. According to a datamine of a Chinese mobile version of TFT, Renata will be that new support. Here is what is known about League of Legends Renata.
Below is the leak.
''Renata'' was datamined from a game called 金铲铲之战 which is a chinese mobile version of TFT. They got their own skin line and everything and they might do the same thing with champions now. But what for some reason https://t.co/P2fOaYx84M is private.https://t.co/r4qBbdqdYt pic.twitter.com/PmrDsbmCZy

This is not confirmed and Renata could not be the next champion to clarify. That being said it would be surprising to see two champions come out quickly from Riot. They did this at the end of 2020 as well to meet their quota of six per year. Even though the dev team said that, 2021 ended with only four champions and the adc and support getting pushed into this year. Could League fans receive eight champions in 2022?
It seems unlikely as five plus the Udyr rework have been confirmed so far. Six still seems likely but this year they have said that they will likely not reach their goal of hitting every role that they wanted to. With the support likely coming in the form of a chem baron and someone like Renata, if not Renata, making their way to the Rift soon it means the jungle void champion would be next.
What would be interesting if it Riot released these two champions and then went silent until the Summer. It would certainly be a new strategy for them as they are almost mechanical in their release schedules and not having a champion every two months would certainly throw some things off.
Either way, should League of Legends Renata be confirmed, fans can find out more here at The Game Haus.
