League of Legends new champion: Naafiri cinematic trailer revealed

There have been whispers of a new champion joining League of Legends. Riot originally teased the champion with art, but now they officially revealed a first look of the Naafiri, the League of Legends new champion. Naafiri’s cinematic trailer showcases the champion, who seems to be a nonhumanoid character.

For those who haven’t seen the trailer yet, check it out in the link below. Naafiri looks amazing, at least from the cinematic, as the animations are breathtakingly well executed.

There have been no gameplay reveals quite yet, so it’s difficult to say whether the champion’s gameplay design will be good. As for the character design, Naafiri’s concept is refreshing. It seems League of Legends’ new champion is a blade who has somehow possessed a wolf.

The champions’ designer shared their thoughts regarding the teaser. “Naafiri is heeeereee. So excited to unleash this beast to the world!”

Many received the trailer very well, complimenting the animation quality alongside design.

“Coolest trailer in a while. such an interesting origin story, excited to see them in game,” one user commented.

“She looks SPECTACULAR! May I ask… when is kit reveal?” another fan asked, eager to see gameplay of the League of Legends new champion. According to a reply, gameplay reveal will occur whenever the PBE updates.

Naafiri is speculated to be a jungler, judging purely on her aesthetic. It helps that in the trailer, it seems like the wolves are ganking the poor traveler and the camel. Of course, this is merely speculation. As of now, there is no Naafiri release date. Naafiri release date will likely be revealed alongside Naafiri’s gameplay.
