The League of Legends 2026 Season 1 Start Date will likely be on January 12, 2026.
There is a chance that this could be on January 5, 2026, as well. That feels highly unlikely, though, based on past season starts.

So far, we have seen the regions of Noxus and Ionia with the newly themed seasons.
It is clear that they are building the story around these seasons and driving towards something. What that something is we do not fully know yet. What we do know is that after Act III of the 2025 season, we are heading to Demacia in 2026.
According to Xin Zhao’s vision, there will be an attack against the country. Most likely, this will be Noxus and a continuation of the story for Leblanc who has been working in the shadows for some time now.
You can bet that the 2026 opening cinematic will continue the story and show this attack on Demacia or at least the build up for it.
