The LCS is back for the Summer with most teams making a few changes. Each of these teams will be duking it out to not only win an LCS Championship but also to get the chance to go to Worlds 2023. As a reminder, there is a chance for four teams to go this year, so that fourth spot will be extremely important. Here are the LCS Picks for Week 6 of the 2023 Summer Split.

LCS Picks Week 6 Summer 2023 Day 1

IMT vs. EG

Immortals are coming off of a strong week while EG are floundering. This game is important to both teams for very different reasons. There is no way Evil Geniuses slide to their sixth-straight loss right?

Prediction: EG Win

GG vs. TL

APA has breathed new life into Team Liquid. The problem is that may not be enough for a team that is looking as cohesive as Golden Guardians on. This is not a game that betting on would be recommended but if one had to, then Golden Guardians are the pick but only by the slightest of margins.

Prediction: GG Win

FLY vs. TSM

It is almost unfathomable that this sentence will be uttered but here it goes. FlyQuest have to win this game while TSM do not necessairly have to and it is because TSM are likely top six while FlyQuest may not even make playoffs. Okay with that in mind, FlyQuest have to win every game which will put them under a lot more pressure and normally when that happens with a team that is already struggling to play together, they buckle. TSM come out on top here.

Prediction: TSM Win

C9 vs. NRG

A week ago this would have been an easy choice to pick Cloud9. While that is still the pick, it is with much less certainty. Cloud9 have started to show cracks in the armor while NRG are finally looking like they have pieces everything together. This should be a fun one that C9 barely push over the finish line.

Prediction: C9 Win

100T vs. DIG

This game is pivatol for both teams. While they are in the driver’s seat for the final two playoff spots, the winner will be essentially guaranteed one while the loser will be hoping that FlyQuest and Immortals lost their previous game. Dignitas are having major issues and so are 100 Thieves but one team has Doublelift and the other doesn’t. Doublelift wills 100 Thieves to their seventh win of the split.

Prediction: 100T Win

LCS Picks Week 6 Summer 2023 Day 2

FLY vs. IMT

It is possible that this game will not matter at this point. But, it is just as likely that this game will matter the most as one of these teams will move on for the chance to make playoffs and the other’s journey ends here. This author has lost more picks to FlyQuest than any other team this split so why stop here? They find a way to win and potentially keep their playoff hopes alive.

Prediction: FLY Win

TSM vs. Cloud9

This will be the last time TSM plays against Cloud9 in the regular season. Another crazy sentence to put out there. This game could be a banger and a potential preview of a playoff series. It will come down to the fact that C9 are the best team in the league and it is still okay to be a little weary of TSM. If TSM pull this one off then all bets are off come playoff time. But for now, Cloud9 win.

Prediction: C9 Win

100T vs. NRG

One team is hitting their stride while the other is fighting for their playoff lives. That means that this should be a very tense game. NRG will come out on top here but this will be another close one.

Prediction: NRG Win

EG vs. TL

Even with APA starting this would have been an easy choice a week ago. And truthfully, it still is. Evil Geniuses are trending down while Team Liquid are looking as strong as they have. TL get the win here in another exciting matchup.

Prediction: TL Win

DIG vs. GG

The blows just keep coming for Dignitas here. Golden Guardians still have a chance for first by this point and will be out for blood. Sorry DIG but you are just a speedbump on Golden Guardians road to try again for winning their first title.

Prediction: GG Win

LCS Picks Week 6 Summer 2023 Day 3

IMT vs. NRG

If Immortals are still fighting for a playoff spot this game ends up potentially being pretty close. If not, then NRG win it handily. Regardless the smarter bet is on NRG but how close it gets could make this game watchable.

Prediction: NRG Win

EG vs. TSM

Crazy to say but should everything go as predicted to this point, this game will be very important for seeding. If EG win they likely secure a top-four spot, if TSM win then they force a tiebreaker which is just more fun for everyone. Considering how well TSM have been playing while EG seem to be sliding, it is hard not to pick TSM to win their last-ever LCS regular season game.

Prediction: TSM Win

GG vs. 100T

All that is left to say is that 100 Thieves better not get to this point with an 0-2 for the week. If they do, then they are in some trouble because Golden Guardians want that first seed and are definitely favored to win this one. Truthfully, the only way that changes is if GG are locked into their spot before the game or if DoubleLift is playing out of his mind. It is certainly not likely but it could happen.

Prediction: GG Win

DIG vs. TL

Similar to the game before this, Dignitas really only stand a chance if Team Liquid decide to troll a bit because the game doesn’t matter or is Jensen has a major carry game. Don’t expect either of those things as Team Liquid comes out on top.

Prediction: TL Win

C9 vs. FLY

They scheduled this game because they assumed it would end up being the most important one of the split. Instead it looks likely to be one of the games that matters the least for the entire weekend. Sorry FlyQuest, there is always next split, right?

Prediction: C9 Win
