LCS Picks Week 2 Spring 2024 Day 1

DIG vs. C9

While Dignitas are a solid team, they are not at the level of Cloud9 and likely will never be. Picking against C9 is foolish until they give you a reason not to.

Prediction: C9 Win

NRG vs. 100T

While 100 Thieves did pull off the biggest upset of week one, do not look for them to do the same here. NRG are a solid team from top to bottom and one that should only get stronger as the season goes on. They win this one quickly and easily.

Prediction: NRG Win

FLY vs. TL

This is the toughest matchup to predict from day one. Both teams are about even in skill and experience. The edge is going to go to FlyQuest though just because of a gut feeling that Inspired is going to do something insane to help them win. Calling it now and if it doesn’t happen then maybe listening to your gut can truly backfire.

Prediction: FLY Win

IMT vs. SR

Another close matchup at least in the standings. One team will walkout with their first win of 2024. The thing is, Shopify Rebellion are the better team on paper. If they can keep Tactical under wraps then they should be able to roll through this one.

Prediction: SR Win

LCS Picks Week 2 Spring 2024 Day 2

DIG vs. 100T

Maybe it is just that it is hard to trust DIG from their many years of mediocrity. Or maybe it is that 100 Thieves are a fun and exciting young team that are easy to cheer for. Either way, 100 Thieves is the prediction but Dignitas could easily swing this one in their favor.

Prediction: 100T Win

C9 vs. SR

Good thing SR got their win on day one because unless C9 just fumbles the bag, they are not losing this one.

Prediction: C9 Win

NRG vs. FLY

Another close matchup and another close FlyQuest prediction. This one again hinges on the mid-jungle duo and while Contractz and Palafox are fantastic, it is hard to choose against Inspired and Jensen right now. With Bwipo holding it down in the top lane it will be on Massu and Busio to not throw. If this all happens then FLY win.

Prediction: FLY Win

TL vs. IMT

Like how picking against C9 is foolish, it is similarly foolish to pick IMT against any decent opponent. TL have already thrown once this season, if they do it again here then there are some early season issues that have to be addressed before heading into super week.

Prediction: TL Win
